The Japan-America Society of Georgia is excited to celebrate its 44th Anniversary at the 2024 Annual Dinner Gala on Tuesday, August 13th at the prestigious Cherokee Town Club in Buckhead Atlanta. We hope that you will make plans to join us as this year's dinner promises to be an evening you will not want to miss as we commemorate the 50 year anniversary of the Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta.

来たる8月13日 (火) にジョージア日米協会主催の第44回 年次晩餐会がバックヘッド・アトランタのチェロキータウン・クラブで催されます。当日は、在アトランタ日本国総領事館の開設50周年を祝う予定もしております。近日中に正式な招待状をお送りいたしますので、大勢の皆様がご参加されますようお待ちしております。

The Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta was established on February 15, 1974, with the goal of supporting the increasing number of Japanese businesses and Japanese citizens that were moving to the southeastern United States at that time.  Since then, in addition to protecting Japanese citizens in its jurisdiction and consular duties such as issuing visas, the Consulate has continued to support Japanese-affiliated companies, collect political, economic, and other relevant information, and carry out cultural exchange and public relations activities through a variety of events in an effort to deepen relations and understanding between Japan and the southeastern United States.
